UIDAI signs MoU with Corporation Bank

BANGALORE, INDIA: The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) and Corporation Bank on Tuesday entered into Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The MoU identifies Corporation Bank as an agency with necessary infrastructure to implement the UIDAI project for identifying the residents of India.

As per the agreement, Corporation Bank and its agents would act as a Registrar. It would provide logistics and liaison support for implementing the UIDAI project. The Bank would enroll its account holders for the unique identification numbers.
