UbiNetics amongst "The Fierce 15"

BANGALORE: UbiNetics today announced that it has been selected as a member of ‘FierceWireless’ annual list of "The Fierce 15", honoring it as one of the top 15 wireless startups in their list of 2004. FierceWireless, an internationally recognized email newsletter covering the wireless industry, evaluated more than 1,200 privately held wireless companies based on company vision, revenue potential, quality of deals and partnerships, and competitive position.

UbiNetics started its India operations in January, 2001. Today it is a 170 person plus organisation, with two facilities in Bangalore. Major expansion plans are currently underway at UbiNetics India, both in terms of number of people working and the kind of projects being undertaken. UbiNetics India is working in the field of 3G Wireless, focusing on WCDMA/GSM/GPRS protocol stacks, HSDPA Test Mobile, Layer1 and Load Generator. UbiNetics' HSDPA test mobile is the first of its kind.
