Tytler for boost of IT sector in Delhi

NEW DELHI: Jagdish Tytler, Lok Sabha member, today requested Jaipal Reddy to encourage service sectors like Information Technology in Delhi and provide jobs in those sectors to young intellectuals in the capital.

In reply, minister for Urban Development Jaipal Reddy said that the issue is under active consideration of the Ministry.

Reddy was chairing a meeting of the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Urban Development here today.

Stating that Information Technology Sectors is playing a dominant role in Delhi, the Minister stated that service sector should be encouraged and projected.

Reddy said his Ministry would look into creating scope for Information Technology Sector. The points raised by Tytler would be considered while finalizing the Delhi Master Plan 2021.
