Tyco launches NETCONNECT range

BANGALORE: Tyco Electronics Corporation, a unit of Tyco International Ltd.,
has introduced AMP NETCONNECT cable management system and surface mount system
and accessories. According to the company, the new systems will offer installers
significant improvements in managing and protecting complex telecommunications
wiring closets and added flexibility in pulling new cabling in open office and
hard-to-reach environments.

The new AMP NETCONNECT cable management panels are designed to provide
simplified routing and protection for patch cords and station, and equipment
cabling. These new panels, which are available in single and double-sided
versions for horizontal and vertical cable management configurations, are
designed to mount to EIA-standard 19-inch racks in order to eliminate cable
clutter, organize cable routing and conserve highly valuable rack space.

"As corporations continue to add capacity to their wiring closets, it is
more and more important for cable installers to minimize labor overhead in order
to meet intensifying time-to-deployment pressures. In addition, with constant
configuration changes taking place in the wiring closet due to adds, moves and
changes, simplified cable management is absolutely essential," says Tyco

The company has also introduced its new AMP NETCONNECT Surface Mount Raceway
System designed to provide installers with a wall-mounted cable routing
solution. Each system, which is designed to accommodate copper and optical fiber
cabling, features a high-performance adhesive that eliminates the need to drill
costly mounting holes.
