Twitter now wants you to find the best content available on its platform with just one tap on 'Explore tab'. And to bring this tab on your mobile screen, the micro-blogging site is doing away with the 'Moments' tab which was launched in 2015.

Twitter currently offers different tabs like trends, Moments, search, and live video that are scattered throughout its app. However, with the new Explore tab, Twitter is bringing all of these together in one tab.

"Very soon, you’ll be able to find trends, Moments, search, and the best of live video, all within the new Explore tab," Twitter said in its blog post.

The latest feature has already been rolled out to iOS Twitter users and the Android users will receive the feature in the coming weeks.

The company has been testing this feature since fall. "During the research process, people told us that the new Explore tab helped them easily find news, what’s trending, and what’s popular right now," Twitter said.

In 2011, Twitter launched “Discover” section that displayed "trending topics and hashtags, suggestions for people to follow and recommended stories based on the connections, location and language settings." However, in 2015, Twitter retired Discover and released Moments, a tool for collecting tweets to tell stories longer than 140 characters.

Though Moments was one of the high-profile product launches Twitter has ever had, it failed to be a game changer for the company.

Now, with its latest 'Explore tab' we hope the company brings it best on the platter.
