Twitter Moments, which was launched last year with an aim to bring the losing micro-blogging service back on track, will be revamped by the company.
According to the Mashable report, the company is replacing its Moments tab, with a new "Explore" tab, which is said to have both discovery features, such as new accounts to follow as well as the standard collections of daily Moments.
"As part of our continued efforts to make it easier to find what’s happening on Twitter, we’re testing a new tab for content discovery," the company said in a statement obtained by Mashable.
Explore tab which is currently available only on Twitter's iOS and Android apps, will also highlight trending topics. It has already begun appearing in place of Moments for some Twitter users Wednesday.
Moments is still rolling out globally and is currently in a handful of countries outside of the United States.
Though Twitter is currently in talks with Salesforce for a buyout, putting a new Explore option for its mobile apps could be used to drive users toward Twitter.
