HYDERABAD, May 17: Madurai-based TVS Interconnect Systems (TVSICS) today
launched its structured cabling solution — TVSnet here today. Targeting the
SMBs, TVSnet provides solutions on voice, data, video and wireless. The solution
after its launch in Hyderabad, would also be introduced in Bangalore and other
Indian cities very soon.
TVSnet will offer turnkey solutions in broadband deployments, campus wide
area networks and enterprise LAN and WAN networks. In addition, the solution
will also supply technical support, onsite renovation, project management,
warranties management and installation services. The company has already
identified the channel partners for TVSnet.
``We feel the importance of structured cabling in SMBs. We are highly focused
on this,'' said S Ashok, general manager, networking, TVSICS.
With an initial investment of Rs 6 crores, TVSICS will also set up an antenna
manufacturing facility built with an anechoic chamber in Madurai. ``The anechoic
chamber will enhance the near-field testing,'' said Biswaji Patnaik,
business head, Telecom.
The facility will come up in July and a total amount of Rs 25-30 crores in
the next two years.
TVSICS, which is the first country in the country to offer Build Operate
Lease (BOL) to telecommunication providers, will invest Rs 200 crore this year
on BOL, said Patnaik.
TVSICS has also a partnership with SISL to provide network infrastructure for
the Hyderabad International Airport.
