TVS Electronics, a computer peripherals

manufacturing company in India, has introduced twelve new models of

On-line UPS systems to cater to the needs of the banking segment. TVSE's

MahaUPS (large autonomy) models have batteries that provide back up power

up to four hours. The battery packs have built-in chargers, which take

care of their individual charging needs.

TVSE's MahaUPS models, being 'intelligent', can be programmed to

automatically start and shut down the computers every day at a specific

time. This feature can be used to automatically start the computers a

short time, say 15 minutes, before the customer hours thus ensuring there

is no waiting time on account of computers being started. Similarly, the

computers can be shut down automatically at a specific time every day thus

ensuring security of data and reducing the scope for misuse.
