CIOL: What are the major technology investments at your enterprise?

Swaminathan: Business Intelligence and storage solutions were some of major major focus areas last year. This has significantly helped us reduce the cost of business in our company.

CIOL: Any overhauls of significant scale or value?

Swaminathan: Virtualisation

CIOL: What are your future strategies?

Swaminathan: We will be focusing more on IT to lead business transformation at our enterprise.

Swaminathan: Information on mobile (Power on the fingertips)

CIOL: IT as a competitive differentiator/innovator/business value centre at your organization - How?

Swaminathan: There are several projects where IT has been a differentiator, innovator, business value center. One day is not enough for sharing the same.
