Turbolinux partners with eSys

NEW DELHI: Linux software major, Turbolinux, today announced its distribution partnership with eSys Information Technologies.

Turbolinux said in a statement that this tie up opens up channels for its products and enables eSys Technologies to enhance its offering of Linux based Operating systems and Applications. This partnership will further help to maximize Turbolinux's market share in the Indian and SAARC countries amongst the growing enterprise segment.

Through the tie up, eSys has acquired a product portfolio that includes Turbolinux's Desktop Operating System, Server Operating Systems, Linux-based Enterprise Applications and Hardware Devices that run on Linux Operating System.

Neeraj Chauhan, COO, eSys Information Technologies, said, "eSys will optimize its channel network in the best possible way to make the latest of the Software accessible to every segment of the market. Our effort will be the further enhancement of Turbolinx's endeavor to make IT environment more precise and consumer friendly."

Talking on the market reach, Noriaki Fukuyasu, president of Turbolinux India, said, "eSys has a very strong distribution network in the tier 2 markets of India. This partnership with eSys will help Turbolinux target these important 'B' and 'C' class cities as well, where currently we have virtually no presence."
