Christened as 'Tsunami Warning Widget (TWW)', it is a PROGSOC project that can warn against impending Tsunami disasters. According to Marcus Schappi and Christian Kent, the brains behind the program, they got the inspiration to develop this widget after reading a column from famous technologist Robert X. Cringely, which said that Tsuanmi warning systems can be build in short time using the data available on the Internet.

The program runs as a Konfabulator widget and gets its data from US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Tsunami warning bulletin.
