BANGALORE, INDIA: Trend Micro Inc., a global cloud security leader, offers a set of expanded managed service provider (MSP) capabilities along with enhanced channel programs and certifications enabling managed service provider partners to focus on increasing value to their customers and growing their managed services business.

Trend Micro Managed Service Provider Program provides solutions and incentives purpose built for the MSP partner.

Highlights of the newly enhanced program include:

  •     Providing pay-as-you-go purchase and renewal options in monthly, quarterly or annual increments that complements the managed service provider business model.
  •     Providing industry-unique tools such as a self-provisioning licensing management platform and a centralized web-based management console that are purpose built for managed service providers.
  •     Working alongside leading industry-specific remote management and monitoring tools as well as professional services automation tools for stronger automation and increased efficiencies.
  •     A portfolio of cloud-based security solutions including email, web and desktop security-as-a-service that don't require any capital expenditures.

Partners can expect to see a robust set of enriched program benefits including:

  •     A new partner portal that will serve as the central hub for all things related to product information, sales tools, training and certification, deal registration, On-Demand Marketing, announcements, not-for-resale software, and much, much more.
  •     A greater focus on channel certifications for Trend Micro's cloud and virtualization security solutions, Trend Micro Worry-Free solutions, and the MSP program.  Certifications for the specializations will be available in the Learning Management System via the Trend Micro partner portal. Partners that complete training and certification will be eligible to receive incremental benefits which can include priority lead pass, preferred listing on the partner locator, bonus payouts via the new incentive program, and special pricing.
  •     A brand new training and education program for partners to ensure they stay ahead of the pack. Trend Micro partners will have yet another means to differentiate themselves from the competition by increasing their knowledge of Trend Micro products and programs. Partners can expect to receive the training they need to drive sales with in-depth and flexible training options, in person or online.
