Trend Micro launches ‘The Sellebrity Tour’

MUMBAI, INDIA: Trend Micro is launching its multicity tour targeting the channel community across tier-II cities. The 25 city road show aptly titled, ‘The Sellebrity Tour’ is designed to help channel partners to identify new business opportunities with Trend Micro’s newly launched product range, including hosted versions and learn how to convert them into revenue.

Trend Micro will also announce various schemes and promotional activities to help the partners earn higher rewards for every successful Trend Micro transaction.

Amit Nath, Country Manager—India and SAARC, Trend Micro said, “Year 2009 will be focused on expanding our channel base to tier-II cities with our new business security suite aimed at the SMB market and our consumer product PC-Cillin. Our focus will be on partner training and empowerment.”

The tour will be organized across 25 cities in India. The first phase of the tour will be conducted in Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Lucknow and Jaipur on June 5, 6, 13 and 26 respectively. Through this tour, Trend Micro will share its strategy for both consumer and SMB space and is aimed at educating the channel partners about the emerging threats as well as providing them with an insight into the latest developments in security solutions. Trend Micro expects around 50 partners at each of the locations.
