Transcend unveils new hard drives

NEW DELHI,INDIA: Transcend, a provider in memory drives and peripherals, today announced the launch of two new portable drives – StoreJet 25C, and StoreJet 25P in India.

The StoreJet 25C is designed with a huge storage capacity and is polished in stainless steel case with connection panel, a press release said. It has up to 320 GB storage capacity and helps the users easily transfer, store and share important data.

The StoreJet 25P is designed for a daily use and is very portable. It features extra-lightweight design and includes a special checkered aluminum front panel. It provides a unique slide-open case that makes hard drive installation and removal easier, according to the release.

Austin Huang, regional head – sales, SAARC and APAC, Transcend, said, “USB powered portable hard drives are gaining immense popularity both in India and the worldwide markets because of their large capacity, compact size and cost-effectiveness.”

“With the growing internet usage all around, we foresee both the individual users and businesses, both small and big, driving the demand for external portable hard drives because of their ever growing need for more data storage capacity,” he added.
