NEW DELHI, INDIA: Transcend Information, Inc., a provider in storage and multimedia products, today announced that its StoreJet external hard drives have passed Windows 7 compatibility testing and are now fully qualified to bear the "Compatible with Windows 7" logo.
Austin Huang, regional head - Sales, SAARC & APAC, Transcend, said, “Now that Microsoft is launching its latest version of Windows operating system, Transcend users can freely use their external hard drives on Windows 7 computers without worrying about compatibility issues.”
According to ChangeWave Research, the current satisfaction rate for Windows 7 is four times higher than Windows Vista, said a press release.
In order to ensure complete functionality when used with the new Windows 7 operating system, Transcend’s 2.5-inch and 1.8-inch StoreJet external hard drives, including StoreJet 25C, StoreJet 25F, StoreJet 25M, StoreJet 25M-R, StoreJet 25P and StoreJet 18M have all been confirmed to meet Microsoft’s strict standards for Windows 7, the release added.
