Transcend intros 128GB SSD in India

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Transcend Information Inc has announced the release of its 128GB, 2.5-inch Solid State Disk (SSD) in India. Its MLC-equipped 128GB SSD far outpaces standard 2.5-in hard drives, delivering read/write speeds of up to 145MB / 92MBPS.

Transcend's 2.5-in SSDs are available in capacities ranging from 8-128GB in SATA-II and IDE versions, and are all backed by a two-year warranty along with the support of a global service network
