NEW DELHI, INDIA: Transcend Information, Inc. (Transcend), a provider in storage and multimedia products, announced on Tuesday that it has entered into alliance with eSobi Inc. to offer enhanced versions of its popular 8GB JetFlash V30 USB flash drives.

Preloaded with the eSobi Internet information management software, JetFlash drives would now make users' digital life more convenient than ever before, said a press release.

“eSobi is a multi-functional Internet information management application that integrates an RSS reader, a meta-search engine and an information library all in one easy-to-use interface,” said Austin Huang, regional head - Sales, SAARC and APAC, Transcend.

He further added that with a built-in full-featured 90-day trial version of eSobi, these upgraded Transcend USB flash drives are not only efficient portable storage devices, but also powerful tools for reading RSS feeds, cross-engine web searching, and centralized file management for organizing Internet information.

JetFlash drives with eSobi streamline the Internet data collection process, resolve information-overflow problems, and prevent stress caused by painstaking information hunting, said the release.

Users can also choose from 21 preset regional channels to subscribe to their favorite news feeds, search Google, Yahoo, and MSN simultaneously, and also make use of eSobi's built-in web page editor for quick note-taking and sharing news and information with friends, added the release.
