MUMBAI, INDIA: As the IT landscape evolves, and CIOs are increasingly being looked upon as business enablers, CIO Association of India has announced the new season of its certification program, in a bid to train the next-gen CIOs.

The program will address the challenge of using IT to fuel efficiency and drive innovation, thereby increasing its impact in the business journey. It will also address the structure and the role of CIO leadership in fostering organizational transformation.

It is designed to create the next gen CIOs who are business and IT savvy, who can demonstrably deploy IT capital towards business efficiency and innovation and who can speak the language of the board.

The objectives of this program are to take the CIOs on a transformative journey where they can think beyond digitally enabling key business processes to creating an extended enterprise that is able to connect seamlessly with its stakeholders, said Amarinder Singh of CIO India.

The three day Global CIO certification program titled, Learning about the evolving role of a Global CIO: A Leadership and Transformational Journey, will be conducted at ISB, Hyderabad from Nov 23 – 27, 2015 for a fee of Rs 1.60 lakh plus taxes.
