Trade2Gain, Ariba announce tie-up

NEW DELHI: Trade2Gain Web Services Ltd., a B2B service provider and Ariba
Inc, a B2B eCommerce solutions provider, have announced a tie-up to offer
scalable eCommerce applications, in a secure hosted environment. The solutions
will be targeted at specific business needs of India and South East Asian firms.

Through its innovative solutions, Trade2Gain will customize, host, implement,
manage and support the Ariba Buyer application. As part of the agreement,
Trade2Gain will also resell the Ariba Buyer solution.

Ariba and Trade2Gain will work closely to build vertical industry templates
integrating Ariba Buyer with leading enterprise applications. Ariba Buyer
enables companies to electronically aggregate enterprise-wide spending from user
desktops and direct spending to preferred suppliers, B2B marketplaces and
exchanges, resulting in streamlined processes and improves trading partner
relationships.

"Our alliance with Ariba enables companies of any size, in any industry
to enjoy the benefits of eProcurement," said Trade2Gain Inc. managing
director Subroto Banerjee. "Through Application Service Provider (ASP)
solutions, our customers can cost-effectively connect to their suppliers and the
larger global Internet economy. Customers can have significant cost savings by
consolidating procurement and directing company-wide purchasing to preferred
suppliers. This will minimize the overall cost of acquiring the products and
services that are essential to their business."

objective is to deliver end-to-end solutions to the broadest cross-section of
customers in the India & the South East Asian markets."

Trade2Gain will also work closely with Ariba implementation and consulting
partners to meet individual eCommerce needs of customers. "We see an
immense potential for ASP services in India and South East Asia, and therefore
firms like Trade2Gain form an integral part of our alliances strategy as we
increase the penetration of B2B eCommerce in this area," added director for
