Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The sale by The Parent Company followed its filing for bankruptcy protection in December 2008, after which it sought strategic alternatives including the sale of some or all of its businesses.

All three websites will keep their current domain names, while Toys "R" Us said it will take over their operations, including merchandising, site management and distribution.

Toys "R" Us launched its own namesake website in 1998.
