BANGALORE, INDIA: Toshiba Corporation has selected ARM’s Cortex-M3 processor to expand its portfolio of microcontrollers and solutions for the automotive controller market. Increasingly, developers are migrating to 32-bit microcontrollers as cost demands are forcing the consolidation of multiple applications onto a single device, which requires higher performance than a 8 or 16 bit microcontroller can offer. ARM’s platform helps in the development of a wide array of embedded app lications.
