Tom Alexander returns to mobile industry as non-executive chairman at Viacloud

LONDON, UK: Viacloud UK Holdings Ltd confirmed that Tom Alexander has been appointed as non executive chairman, thus marking his long anticipated return to the mobile industry.

Previously, he was chief executive at Everything Everywhere, but is perhaps best known as the founder and CEO of Virgin Mobile, the UK's most successful new entrant mobile service provider.

As non executive chairman, Alexander will provide his unique leadership experience in the mobile industry to Viacloud, as it continues its commercial expansion based upon its highly scalable mobile infrastructure for MVNOs and leading brands.

His appointment closely follows the recruitment of the new executive team, which includes Emanuele Angelidis (CEO) and key senior management including Tim Stone (CCO), Jon Kandiah (CTO), and Richard Schaefer (CFO).
