BANGALORE: Tivoli Systems, an IBM company, has said that it will implement
Enterprise Systems Management (ESM) at NetMagic Solutions, an ISP license holder
from Mumbai. Tivoli’s ESM will provide network management, server management,
Web management and service desk to NetMagic Solutions. Tivoli will also provide
service desk feature and end-to-end Web management for NetMagic Solutions.
Along with the ISP license, NetMagic is building an Internet data center at
Mumbai. The center will offer services customized to meet the requirements of
dotcoms, ASPs, ISPs and corporates. The range of services offered by NetMagic
include managed Web hosting services, mail outsourcing, virtual ISP services,
security solutions and content delivery services.
Speaking about the partnership, NetMagic managing director Sharad Sanghi
said, "We wanted to deploy a robust framework based ESM solution for our
complex network management and server management needs. We needed a single
solution that can manage our vastly distributed IT resources encompassing
heterogeneous systems, applications, desktops and databases. NetMagic servers
have various operating systems such as NT, Sun and Linux. Our strength lies in

Tivoli’s strengths and its expertise in providing end-to-end solutions to our
needs."
