TiE-ISB Connect '09 to be held in Hyd

HYDERABAD, INDIA: TiE-ISB Connect 2009, the annual networking event for entrepreneurs and investors, will be held on October 22 and 23 at Hotel Marriott in Hyderabad.

Organized by the Hyderabad Chapter of TiE and the Wadhwani Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (WCED), ISB, the summit enables interaction of aspiring entrepreneurs, early-stage ventures, and growth-stage ventures with potential investors, successful entrepreneurs and mentors, said a press release.

The event offers an opportunity for entrepreneurs to build a network with other entrepreneurs, investors and discover new opportunities as well as to know “how to build successful enterprises”, it added.

This year the focus of the event would be ‘Surviving and Succeeding’ in difficult times. In the backdrop of the financial downturn, it would bring together first-time and seasoned entrepreneurs with investment community to explore the opportunities and challenges in the current economic times, the release added.

Apart from other sessions, there will also be a session on starting a new venture and raising funds through the seed to the growth stage of the company has been introduced to address entrepreneurial challenges.
