Three cheers for the Mumbaites!

BANGALORE: Teams of from Sri M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, Bangalore, IEC College of Engineering and Technology, Greater NOIDA, and Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology (VESIT), Mumbai were the three finalists to present their applications, to a huge, enthusiastic crowd of students from various colleges.

Bangalore, presented 'iGurukul.NET' — a solution aimed at empowerment of India's primary education, Noida, presented a project developed using Microsoft .NET to increase collaboration and communication among masses. And the team from Mumbai presented 'Gurukul' - a solution that aims to simplify the life of students by providing them easy access to e-learning and remote education through e-books and e-classrooms.

‘Gurukul,’, is a project built using .Net with SQL Server as the backend database. The project presents a role model for Universities, collaborating various colleges with the industry, and aims at improving interaction between the two.



Jury had a difficult time selecting the winner as there was stiff competition between the teams from Bangalore and Mumbai.
