MUMBAI:
i-flex solutions, provider of technology solutions to the global
financial services industry, announced today that three premier financial
institutions in Africa have selected FLEXCUBE as the core banking solution for
their respective institutions.

They are the Uganda headquartered East African Development Bank; Imperial Bank,
a leading private bank in Kenya; and United Bank S.C., one of the most
profitable banks in Ethiopia. They join 50 financial institutions that are
already i-flex's customers in Eastern Africa.

The East African Development Bank has become the first development bank to
select FLEXCUBE in Eastern Africa and is the fifth FLEXCUBE customer in Uganda.
It will deploy the solution in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.

Imperial Bank has chosen FLEXCUBE to replace i-flex solutions' MicroBanker - a
software solution aimed at the automation of small and medium financial
institutions. One of Ethiopia's most profitable banks - United Bank - has
selected FLEXCUBE to enable unified processes and consolidate views of customer
transactions. It is the second win for FLEXCUBE in Ethiopia. United Bank plans
to offer internet, phone banking, ATMs and credit card services once it has
implemented FLEXCUBE.

Speaking on FLEXCUBE's success in Eastern Africa, Anil Rai, Vice President -
Africa Sales, i-flex solutions said, “We are delighted to have three more
premier banks joining the league of over 50 highly satisfied financial
institutions and further reinforce our market leadership position. FLEXCUBE has
emerged as a platform of choice for financial institutions in Eastern Africa and
we will ensure that it will remain so.
