Thrane & Thrane licenses HelloSoft VoIP

HYDERABAD, INDIA: HelloSoft, Inc. today announced that Thrane & Thrane, a manufacturer of terminals and land earth stations for global mobile satellite and radio communication, has licensed its VoIP technologies for Thrane’s next generation EXPLORER handset.

According to Lars Lindgreen, product manager, Thrane, "By integrating HelloSoft’s voice engine, we will be able to provide satellite users the benefits of higher quality voice coupled with superior noise cancellation which is critical for aeronautical, landmobile and maritime applications."

HelloSoft has a range of VoIP and wireless products to meet the price and performance needs of multiple high-volume markets, including multi-mode devices, which enable OEMs, ODMs and semiconductor manufacturers to deliver VoIP enabled products with a shorter time to market.
