ThomasLloyd Cleantech Congress Europe to be held on 24 January 2014

ZURICH, SWITZERLAND: The ThomasLloyd Group an asset management and project financing companies for renewable energy infrastructure in Asia - has established the ThomasLloyd Cleantech Congress Europe as a platform for building bridges between European investors and technology companies on the one hand and project developers, communities and governments in Asia on the other.

The ThomasLloyd Group emphasises its leading role in the renewable energy infrastructure sector in Asia and offers several thousand guests - both visitors to the Congress and a worldwide audience linked to the event by live-stream Internet video - an opportunity to experience top level exchange and dialogue between notable experts.

For the first time, the ThomasLloyd showcase fair will be held parallel to the Congress to allow visitors to find out more about investment locations, technologies, projects and partners in the field of renewable energy infrastructure in Asia.

He continues: 'Particularly in the Asia-Pacific region, the sustainable development of energy policies will not only play a decisive role globally for present and future generations, it will also create the basis for further growth within the region and become an essential factor in shaping the 'Asian Century'.

ThomasLloyd has invited institutional investors, financial services providers, banks and asset managers, elected representatives, associations, organisations and representatives of the national and international media to this year's Congress.

In addition to President Clinton, who will deliver the keynote address via a live satellite link, other prominent international guests are scheduled to speak at the Congress include Prof. Dr. Justin Yifu Lin, the former Chief Economist and Vice-President of the World Bank, Loren Legarda, Senator of the Republic of the Philippines, Edgardo J. Angara, 16th President of the Senate of the Republic of the Philippines, and Professor Peter Guthrie, global expert for sustainable infrastructure development and Professor at the University of Cambridge, Great Britain. Her Excellency Maria Cleofe R. Natividad, the Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines in Germany will be welcoming participants to the Congress in her role as guest speaker.
