ThinkSoft selects HP to build application testing CoE

BANGALORE, INDIA: HP today announced that ThinkSoft Global Services Ltd. has selected HP to build an Application Testing Center of Excellence (CoE) to help its customers reduce software development timelines and life cycle costs.

Based in Chennai, India, ThinkSoft is a provider of independent and outsourced software testing services to Banking, Financial services and Insurance (BFSI) organizations in the United States, Europe, Asia-Pacific and India.

The CoE, built on HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools, will help ThinkSoft offer new specialized testing services such as application security testing, performance validation and agile-based software testing said a press release.

“Applications are the lifeblood of all businesses and in the financial services industry, software failures can put business outcomes at serious risk,” said A.V. Asvini Kumar, managing director, ThinkSoft.

He added, “Our new Application Testing CoE will bring together the industry leading HP ALM Management tools and our financial services- focused, structured testing methodologies. HP’s ALM tools will enable us to achieve operational excellence and enhance business value resulting in quantifiable improvements in customer satisfaction levels.”
