ThinkAnalytics expands ThinkCloud for cloud-based recommendations

LONDON, UK: ThinkAnalytics announced expanded functionality for ThinkCloud, its hosted solution that enables operators and programmers to rapidly deploy the ThinkAnalytics Search and Recommendations Engine using an iterative, pay as you grow business model.

ThinkAnalytics brings one of the largest recommendations metadata repositories to assist operators in achieving the business benefits of full personalization available as an on premise or fully hosted solution. ThinkCloud is already deployed with three European service providers.

ThinkCloud is a hosted, software as a service (SaaS) personalized search and recommendations solution that gives operators an accelerated time to market by offloading dependencies on IT teams for initial deployment and ongoing system management.

The system comes equipped with out-of-the-box recommendations algorithms, business rules and real-time feedback loops that allow customers to quickly measure and tune their applications. ThinkCloud is pre-integrated with ThinkTV, ThinkSports, ThinkMovies metadata libraries, and leading metadata provider partners.

ThinkAnalytics has a customer base of over 50 operators and content providers worldwide serving more than 130 million licensed subscribers. Customers include: Cox Communications, Fox, Liberty Global, BSkyB, Swisscom, Unitymedia in Germany, Zon in Portugal, and Nordic operator Canal Digital. The platform is available as a cloud-based, on-premise or hosted solution.
