The DMS helped in providing an integrated system for connecting the company’s channel partners to ensure standardized processes in order to improve customer and partner satisfaction levels. It was implemented in the three major areas of sales, service and parts.

Project Name: Innovative Motor Underwriting
Existing Siebel e-insurance module was customized, using the principles of management by exception and automated workflow system. A specific discount calculator was developed using various parameters like vehicle model, age of vehicle, geography etc.
The solution was implemented in July 2010 and the financial year 2010-11 result showed that motor OD loss ratio was reduced by about 1 per cent as compared to the same in the corresponding duration last fiscal.

Project Name: Revenue management System
Revenue leakage was plugged using a project developed in-house with internal IT team, using .NET and SQL as back-end platform and the implementation was completed in five months from the time of initiation.

Project Name: Operator Independent Truck Dispatch System (OITDS)
A mining command and control room along with GPS-based truck dispatch system to carry out dynamic allocation of dumpers to excavators in real time thus reducing time lost in waiting at excavators.
Through OITDS, the entire mining time could be monitored at central control room, where automatic alerts are installed. The tyre pressure monitoring system reduced the diesel consumption and increased the life of tyre.

Project Name: Mobile lead Management system (MLMS) - Fast connect
MLMS was used to organize and offer support to the existing lead management process using mobile phones as the primary front-end device.
The system consists of mobile application for sales executives on the field, browser-based allocation and web-reporting module for sales managers at the branch level. It was installed on the mobile phones of sales executives and connected to the back-end server through GPRS or CDMA.

Project Name: Implementation of an integrated, real-time Internet banking channel for corporate and SME clients.
A wide range of commercial, transactional and electronic banking products and services offered through a single window — Single Sign On technology — to corporate and SME banking clients. Even account details of those held with other banks across the globle, can be viewed on the same platform. Corporates can have the account number they want. There are 5-6 product platforms and eight production systems.
Best Security Implementation Award (Only one award)

Project Name: Implementation of STARTOKEN, PCI-DSS and setting up 24X7 Security Operations Center (SOC).
The new solution aims to tackle attacks effectively and create trust among online customers. The SOC centers will monitor the infrastructure from real-time attacks and would take steps to tackle the same by deploying SIEM (Security Incident & Event Monitoring Tool)
Best Cloud Implementation Award
Gold: Rajiv Batra
Company: MTS India (Sistema Shyam Teleservices India Ltd.)
Project Name: BSS stack on the cloud
The solution was used to offer its partners the ability to white label MTS data card dongles and access the CRM, billing, provisioning on the cloud. The home-grown BSS stack was redesigned to support multi-tenancy and will be used for wholesale data deals with MTS partners.
