Follow UsBANGALORE, INDIA: The elite community of Indian CIOs are ready to witness the much-awaited C-Change Enterprise Awards 2011, earlier known as Enterprise Awards, scheduled at The Leela, Mumbai on Friday, August 19, 2011.
The award was instituted in 2004 and so far it has received more than 400 nominations.
In continuation to the last year's success in the Project Management category, this year too the organizers received overwhelming responses from the Indian CIOs to nominate their project for this coveted award.
Project Management, which is considered a must in all the enterprises, aims to address the needs of a project manager in achieving the set goal by adhering to the discipline in planning, organizing, securing and managing resources.
The award for best implementation of Project Management category was implemented to recognize a CIO who has made an investment and endeavor to take care of implementation aspects of any project based on all the facets of an IT initiative ranging from time, costs, requirement adherence, real-time problems etc.
The nominees for the project management category received entries from various industry verticals viz; Healthcare, Finance, Banking, Logistics, Manufacturing and Automobile who are contending for implementing integrated, real-time Internet Banking channel, Implementation of CRM system, Implementation of ISO 27001 and Implementation and up-gradation of software and hardware infrastructure.
The winner is recognized under the set parameters, which include usage of project management software, quality measure adopted during the project, major challenges encountered while conceiving, selling and executing the project and best tech project/implementation.
This year, the award for the best project management, among other awards, was selected by an eminent panel headed by Ashok Soota.
