Thailand to woo Indian IT companies

NEW DELHI: Thailand will encourage investment by Indian IT companies in the country as well as for selling their software products in the country.

Talking to CyberMedia News here, after signing the bilateral agreement between India and his country, Thai minister of commerce, Krirk-krai Jirapet said: “I encourage the investment by Indian IT companies and also invite them to sell their products to users in Thailand.”

“There is a huge potential in developing sectors such as banking and aviation and Indian IT companies can sell their proven software to the companies engaged in these sectors,” he said.

Jirapet informed that Thailand was in talks with department of Information Technology (DIT) for replicating the Indian IT success story in their country.
