Teseq enhances NSG 438 ESD simulator

EDISON, USA: Teseq, now a unit of AMETEK Compliance Test Solutions and a leading developer of instrumentation and systems for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) emission and immunity testing, has enhanced its NSG 438 electrostatic discharge (ESD) simulator to include a brand new color touch display, allowing changes to settings and features right on the pistol.

This is the first ESD pistol on the market with a color touch-screen display for greater visibility and ease of use. Teseq's NSG 437 also includes this unique, new feature.

The upgraded NSG 438 is easy to use and offers the longest battery life of any ESD simulator on the market, with over 30,000 discharges at 30 kV on a single battery charge. A unique activity log showing the types and number of ESD simulations is also built into the unit, allowing the user to easily scroll through the touch screen to check what has been tested and in what timeframe.
