Tesco HSC names new head for HR

MUMBAI: Tesco Hindustan Service Centre (Tesco HSC), announced on Thursday the appointment of Dayanand Allapur as Head of Human Resources.

In his role, he will be responsible for overseeing all of the Human Resource functions including Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Employee Engagement and Learning & Development, said a press release.

On this occasion, Sandeep Dhar, CEO, Tesco HSC said, “Dayanand joins us at a stage when we are scaling up and deepening our support for Tesco globally. His diverse experience across industries and geographies in the HR will be extremely useful for us to achieve these goals.”

Dayanand brings with him over 20 years of a well-rounded global experience in Human Resources, having lived and worked in UK, Australia, USA and India. During these years, he has managed significant portfolios in Employee Engagement, Talent Management, Global Resource Management, Mergers & Acquisitions, Change Management as well as Program Management of large initiatives.

His last role before joining Tesco HSC was with Patni Americas Inc. as Vice President and Head of Human Resources, based out of Boston, USA.
