BCI will use the powerful and affordable appliance to support the bank’s marketing campaign management, compliance with risk requirements, sales management, and budgeting.

“The selection of the latest Teradata technology will enable BCI to continue innovating,” said Danilo Gonzalez, manager, information technology, BCI in a press note. “We have the capability to leverage customer, financial and operations data in new and strategic ways. The leveraging of data provides enterprise intelligence, which allows us to offer our customers premier financial products and services which meet their individual needs.”

“BCI was the first Teradata financial services customer in Latin America 12 years ago. We are very proud of what BCI has achieved with their data warehouse and the Teradata Financial Services Logical Data Model. They used the data model as a roadmap to help provide a global view of the bank and accelerate the time to achieve business value,” said Leonardo Gonzalez Barcelo, country manager, Teradata Chile and Peru.
