Telstra to counter Android malware

BANGALORE, INDIA: In a bid to to counter malware on Android smartphones and tablets, Australian telcom provider Telstra has joined hands with mobile security firm Lookout.

Telstra in a statement said the partnership was aimed at helping the Android smartphone and tablet customers protect their devices from online threats.

Telstra said its customers with Android smartphones could download Lookout from the Telstra section in the Android Market.
