Telelogic inks € 10-mn deal with Thales

BANGALORE: Telelogic, provider of software solutions for Enterprise Lifecycle Management (ELM) today announced that it has signed a four-year strategic €10 million agreement with Thales for the provision of licenses and maintenance.

The agreement with Thales includes new license and maintenance on their existing investment for; Telelogic DOORS for requirements definition, analysis and management, Telelogic Rhapsody for Model Driven Development of Embedded Systems and System Architect for enterprise architecture and business process modeling. Included in the deal is the maintenance extension for Telelogic Logiscope for static code quality analysis, Telelogic said in a statement.

"Telelogic has worked closely with Thales to understand their development and business needs. It is due to this successful relationship and our leading solutions that Thales took the decision to extend and expand their existing agreement with Telelogic," said Sidharth Mallik, managing director India of Telelogic.

"The agreement further strengthens our relationship with a global giant in the aerospace and defense industry and is another endorsement of Telelogic's ability to deliver against the requirements of this most demanding market," he added.

The agreement enables Thales to efficiently roll out Telelogic´s powerful solution for enterprise lifecycle management globally and across wide range of projects in the context of the new Thales Systems and Software Engineering Workbench: Orchestra.

With operations in 50 countries and 68,000 employees, France-based Thales provides mission-critical information systems for the Aerospace, Defense and Security markets.
