Telecom capex to continue to increase in India

Though many verticals faced severe financial problems and reduced capex spending, the telecom vertical showed enormous resiliency by the virtue of its necessity particularly during the recession time. To effect cuts in travel expenditures enterprises and individual consumers chose to adopt more and more telecommunication tools, driving the growth of the telecom vertical not only in India, but worldwide.

According to a recent research report by Frost&Sullivan titled “Telecom Companies Capital Expenditure” for the South Asia and Middle East markets, both the revenue earnings and capex spending capacity of telecom operators showed resilience.
