The Cloud-IX platform will be rolled out to customers located in any of TelecityGroup's facilities across Europe, providing direct connectivity with leading and most innovative cloud providers, including Amazon Web Services; iland, VMware's global cloud provider of the year; CSC; Fujitsu and Outsourcery.

In particular, Cloud-IX will enable customers to maximise the efficiency, flexibility and security of the hybrid cloud by establishing dedicated network connections from their private or managed infrastructure into any of the cloud providers that are part of the platform.

Cloud-IX will enable businesses to make sophisticated choices around the deployment of their applications, without restrictions due to data sovereignty or vendor lock-in. By integrating hybrid platforms with the cloud providers of their choice, the platform will allow customers to seamlessly connect to, and between, cloud providers, physical systems and networks as part of TelecityGroup's vibrant digital ecosystem.

Cloud-IX is the next stage in TelecityGroup's ongoing commitment - as Europe's leading carrier neutral data centre provider - to deliver innovative, business-focused solutions to support the cloud.

With a combination of premium infrastructure, connectivity and location in Europe's key internet hubs, TelecityGroup provides the optimal data centre environments in which to locate cloud infrastructure. With a choice of more than 400 carriers present in its facilities, many of the world's largest cloud service providers (CSPs) have already established TelecityGroup as their data centre provider of choice in Europe.
