Telanetix launches VoIP soln for SMBs

SAN DIEGO, US: Telanetix Inc., a leading IP solutions provider offering telepresence and VoIP services to the SMB and SME markets, has launched a complete VoIP solution aimed at simplifying the process for SMBs switching to VoIP-based phone systems.

The product, called Digital Phone Service, offers small businesses a turnkey approach to upgrading to VoIP, including all of the hardware and software necessary to utilize the benefits of making the transition. Additionally, the new product eliminates the typical downtime associated with switching to an IP platform.

Digital Phone Service is targeted specifically at businesses of two to five employees, which do not necessarily have an IT manager. This segment accounts for 70 percent of the more than 6 million SMBs in the United States.

Benefits of the Digital Phone Service (DPS) solution include:

• Plug-and-Play installation: Users simply plug the phone system power cord into the wall outlet, connect the router for a broadband circuit to the phone system, plug the phones into the phone system, and start making calls.
• Quality Monitoring: AccessLine offers complimentary service quality monitoring.
