Tejas appoints new president

BANGALORE, INDIA: Tejas Networks has announced the appointment of Rangnath Salgame as president.

Salgame will lead Tejas through its next phase of market expansion and growth, Tejas said in a statement.

“We are delighted to have Rangu join our senior management team. Rangu brings in a rare combination of entrepreneurial leadership in startups as well as in established companies, along with a very rich international experience. He will play a key role in scaling the company as we build on our success in India and become a strong global company”, said Sanjay Nayak, CEO, Tejas Networks.

Salgame is an entrepreneurial business leader with over two decade of experience. He has also extensively worked with private and public capital markets in US, Europe and Asia. Earlier to joining Tejas, Salgame was with for over four years Cisco Systems.

He holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He also has engineering degrees from Virginia Tech and MS University of Baroda, India.
