TechSmith avails Camtasia for Mac

OKEMOS, US: TechSmith Corp., a provider of screen capture and screen recording solutions, today announced that Camtasia for Mac would be available August 25 for download and purchase.

With Camtasia for Mac, customers can create professional and engaging presentations, demonstrations, screencasts, training and marketing videos in HD quality to reach audiences online, on Apple portable media devices, and on popular video sharing sites like YouTube.

TechSmith would be offering a special introductory price of $99.00 through the end of the year for a single user license, and a full-featured 30-day free trial, said a press release.

With this collaboration, Camtasia for Mac delivers a great user experience,” said Troy Stein, Camtasia for Mac product manager at TechSmith.

“With straightforward recording, a deliberate focus on time-saving editing features, and extensive publishing options, customers will be able to create and deliver high-quality screen recorded content to their audiences while maintaining their creative control,” he added.

Camtasia for Mac is integrated with TechSmith’s Screencast.com hosting service for fast and easy video sharing, said the release.

For trial users and customers receive 2GB of storage and 2GB of monthly bandwidth for free on Screencast.com.
