Technology, the key to quality service

BANGALORE, INDIA: "Technology and globalization are creating a set of opportunities as most of the companies engage in thinking-intensive work leading innovation to truly become  everyone's responsibility," said Lautent Gaudy, Vice President, partners and alliance at Neotys.

Addressing the software testers community on the second day of STeP-IN summit, Gaudy said, technology is the key to quality service with wide varieties of tools.

He also pointed out that switching from investment-based to innovation-based strategy is the only norm for successful convergence with technology frontier.

Highlighting on emergence of technoscapes in the information technology, Gaudy felt, Information technology moves around and across the globe. “More and more organizations are looking at IT as their critical enabler to tap into the global economy of the future,” he said.

An IT strategy must be global, which means taking advantage of IT to break down physical limitations, and at the same time tapping into global labor pool which can bring new energy and innovation at scale, said Gaudy.

"The context of the IT world is changing very rapidly," said Gaudy and further added that RIAs are becoming ubiquitous. Along with increased interaction with users it brings in new complexities.

In his speech, Gaudy also highlighted on the emerging trends that software testing industry can witness and what are the major shifts that users can expect in 2012.
