TechEd to showcase Tablet PC, GxA

BANGALORE: TechEd, Microsoft’s annual technology conference to be held in September, will showcase products and technologies that the company would release in the coming months. The event will have special focus on next generation XML services, Global XML Architecture (GxA), Tablet PC, Pocket PC-Phone Edition, Smart Phone and Windows .Net server. All the products are to be showcased and previewed for the first time in India.



"Two years back we had discussed about .Net during the Tech Ed. This year, we are showcasing products and applications built on that technology. Customers who are using it effectively will also be sharing their experiences in this forum. There about 18 companies, including Wipro and Infosys, who will participate in this conference," said Microsoft Corporation India Senior Marketing Manager Daniel Ingitaraj.



Dubbed to be the largest technology conference in India, with an estimated 2,500 participants, Microsoft TechEd 2002 is all set to reveal its Web services’ case studies, more importantly show the roadmap of the future. For the first time, the conference has also been spread across three days with five tracks, namely, Data, Development Tools and Technologies, Mobility, Security and Core Infrastructure Services. The three day program is scheduled to be held in Bangalore on September 17-19, 2002 and September 23-25 in Mumbai.
