Tech Mahindra ties up with Servista

CHENNAI, INDIA: Tech Mahindra (TechM), an IT services provider in the telecom space, today announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire a minority equity stake of Servista, a leading European systems integrator.

The agreement states that Tech Mahindra would be Servista’s exclusive delivery arm for three years and would also assist Servista in securing more large scale European IT offshoring business.

The partnership would provide TechM with a right to nominate a member onto Servista’s board of directors.

It would also drive Tech Mahindra’s expansion into the European market place and will significantly enhance its business development capability, said a press release.

Ben Andradi, chief executive officer, Servista Ltd said, “We are delighted to enter into this highly complimentary relationship with TechM that will deliver the huge benefits of Indian Offshoring to the European Market place.”

“There is substantial potential for growth, which is reflected in current demand, as European companies are at relatively early stages in their use of IT Offshoring for competitive advantage, compared to their American counterparts,” he added.

“Tech Mahindra's strategy of pursuing long-term customer relationships has always yielded definitive results. Enhancing our partnership with Servista is another important milestone in this journey - and will expand our service delivery footprint in Europe,” said C.P Gurnani, president international operations, Tech Mahindra.

He added that company’s domain driven delivery model would ensure higher efficiencies for Servista and enable it to rapidly deploy a range of new services offerings to meet customer demands.
