Team Torsk S tops at WIF

LIMOGES, FRANCE: Results of the WIF (Webdesign International Festival), held in Limoges on April 18, are finally out. The annual event, which laid a platform for webdesigners to show their talent, featured 40 teams from 14 countries working on the theme "What will the communication by e-mail look like to in 2020 and will it still exist?"

At the 24-hour  non-stop competition, Team Torsk S bagged the first place, while Equipe BOPE Brazil and Equipe 1st December India made it to the second and third place respectively. The special prize went to Great Hopes : Equipe Rigaud France. "This prize is really special as the team had only comprised only one member, In addition, to this the winner has been offered to come and create his company with the help of the E-Design excellence center," said one of the organisers.

Within three years, WIF stood out as the main event for Webdesign enthusiasts; whether they are professionals or amateurs. Apart from the competition, the WIF has the ambition to be the international meeting point of the interactive design.

The WIF purpose is to facilitate meetings between the participants through:

• Conferences on innovation in Webdesign and interactive design.
• Meetings with professionals, digital agency, clients, software publishers / producers and well known brand of the computing industry.
• VIP party of networking around the design.
