He is N.K. Narasimha Kaulgud, who used to teach embedded systems and Linux. At that juncture, I wasn't contemplating a career in open source, but actually chose the subject to participate at a seminar series, as I was confident to learn a lot from Mr Kaulgud.
Subsequently, I landed a job in the same platform and went and met him at our college.
These days, there are no many lecturers with in-depth knowledge and those who are really good at their specializations, pick a career outside teaching. So, he was a great influence in my picking this career and continuing to do well.
