TCS wins 2010 SAP Pinnacle award

MUMBAI, INDIA: India's IT major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) today announced that it has won a 2010 SAP Pinnacle Award in the “Global Partner Service Innovator” category.

SAP Pinnacle Awards are granted to leading SAP partners that have excelled in enhancing the customer experience, addressing critical issues such as accelerating co-innovation and improving return on investment, said a press release.

Winners were selected based on more than 230 nominations in 27 categories received from partners and SAP employees.

TCS received the award at a special awards ceremony held on the eve of SAPPHIRE NOW, SAP’s international customer conference held in Orlando from May 16 to 19, 2010.

“Pinnacle Awards are a testament to our leadership in providing implementation services in support of SAP solutions globally,” said Raman Venkatraman, global practice head - SAP & Microsoft, TCS.

TCS became the first global services partner for SAP AG from Asia in 2006 and retains more than 6,900 consultants focused on SAP solutions spread globally, the release further said.

TCS is the first SAP partner from India to win an SAP Pinnacle Award for four consecutive years.

“The SAP ecosystem, through our partners and communities, continuously drives growth and success for our joint customers,” said S. Singh Mecker, senior vice president and head, Global Ecosystem and Partner Group, SAP.
