"We are honored to be acknowledged by Informatica for the innovative solution we deployed at Comcast" said Siva Ganesan, VP and global head of Assurance Services, TCS. "In today's connected world, it is paramount that businesses have the right assurance methods in place to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. This space demands an innovative and industry leading approach to solve the growing challenges customers face due to lack of test data."

The project, which started just about a year ago, was a joint collaboration between Comcast, TCS' Assurance Services Unit and Informatica. The goal was to ensure timely availability of referentially correct test data across the various applications in Comcast's QA environment.

TCS was able to achieve this objective through the use of its Test Data Management (TDM) solution built on Informatica's Information Lifecycle Management TDM platform that ensures data across an organization is readily accessible so that it can be analyzed and tested across sub-environments. The benefits of effectively implementing TCS' TDM solution include reduced costs, assurance of data quality, faster delivery, and strict adherence to regulatory requirements.

"TCS and Informatica partnered to deploy an innovative solution to address our test data challenges and requirements," said Adrian O'Leary, senior VP, and Kannan Subramaniam, VP, Testing and Quality Management at Comcast. "We are pleased that historical constraints have disappeared, enabling us to serve our business in an agile and cost effective way, while improving the overall customer experience."

"We are delighted to recognize the innovation demonstrated by Comcast and TCS," said Amit Walia, GM and senior VP at Informatica. "Their thought leadership in the testing and quality assurance market has proven to deliver the operational efficiencies necessary to stay agile."
